Avella Area will close out the 2007 season at Frazier, Friday night, October 26th.
Frazier is also 0-5 in the conference after losing 67-13 to first place Serra Catholic. This will be a battle to stay out of the cellar of the Black Hills conference.
Avella played well at times this past Friday against second place Chartiers Houston, losing by a score of 28-13. The JV team traveled to Chartiers on Monday afternoon and beat the Buccaneer JV squad 6-0. It was a very good defensive effort for the Eagle JV's. Jesse Noble scored on a short run for the game's only points.
