MAPLES COMING TO TOWN

The Mapletown Maples come to Avella this friday for the final non-conference game of the season.

Mapletown is 2-1, with wins over Bentworth and Geibel. This will be the 3rd Tri-County South team that Avella Area has faced this year.

The Avella Area JV lost a hard fought game with Serra Catholic on Monday. The final was 30-14, but the JV was down only 12-8 at halftime. Luke Liggett scored again with Cam Geresti adding the 2 point conversion. Geresti also connected with Jared Magon on a long touchdown pass.
